Kate Wolf is owner and educator at Wolf Tools® and Kate Wolf Designs in Portland, Maine, where her work focuses on carving wax, designing tools and teaching workshops. Kate holds a B.F.A. in metalsmithing and jewelry from the Tyler School of Art. She is a tool inventor, an educator, an author and a former director of production and master model-maker for the Franklin Mint. Kate won the MJSA Innovators Award in 2004 for her Wolf wax carving tools and Wolf Wax™ by Ferris®. This is her first presentation at the Santa Fe Symposium®.
