Jeanette K. Caines, author of Soldering Demystified, has studied and taught at Jewelry Arts Inc. in New York for the past 29 years, becoming its director in 2009 and owner in 2017. The school exists to revive, teach and reinforce the techniques of ancient jewelry makers and goldsmiths that form the foundation of the work jewelers do to this day. She is the recipient of the Santa Fe Symposium® Technical Innovation Award. This is Jeanette's fourth presentation at the Symposium.
